The prices of gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday.
Gold futures, maturing on August 5, 2022, stand at Rs 50,691 per 10 grams, recording a marginal dip of Rs 213 or 0.42 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 50,760.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2022, witnessed a downfall of Rs 895 or 1.46 per cent and were retailing at Rs 61,101 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 61,271.
The rate for a 24-carat of gold was Rs 51,760 per 10 grams for major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and more.
The rate of gold varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and the state taxes.
