IAS officer Tina Dabi and her husband, IAS officer Pradeep Gawande, got married in April last year. They welcomed their first child on September 15.
Tina Dabi, the 2015 Indian Administrative Services topper, welcomed her first child with husband and fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande on Friday.
The couple met during the Covid-19 pandemic when they were tasked with ensuring supplies. They got married on April 22 last year.
Tina Dabi, an officer of the 2016 Rajasthan cadre, was last posted as District Magistrate in Jaisalmer. On July 14, she announced in an Instagram post that she was taking a break from work. She was earlier posted in Jaipur as the Joint Secretary of Finance (Tax) to the Rajasthan government.
In 2015, Tina Dabi became the first person from the Dalit community to top the prestigious civil services examination.
Pradeep Gawande, a 2013-batch IAS officer, hails from Maharashtra's Latur. He completed his MBBS at Ghati Hospital in Aurangabad. He cleared UPSC in 2013 and is now an IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre.
