As per a recent news update, the unhygienic food conditions at IIIT Hyderabad have raised concerns over the food served at premier institutions. Students had reported cockroaches and flies in the food. It's not even a week since the incident, and the latest case of a piece of snake found in Bihar College has once again shocked people.

It is reported that students of a government engineering college in Bihar's Banka discovered pieces of what looked like a snake in their dinner served at the college mess. At least 11 students fell ill after consuming the food and were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for symptoms of nausea and vomiting. As per the doctor treating the students, all 11 students are now safe.

As per a picture taken by the students in the mess areas, it appeared like the tail of something. The latest update states that the college administration has decided to change the food vendor besides imposing a fine on the accused. Also, the administration has made it mandatory for principal and teachers to consume food with students every day.

In another recent incident, a Mumbai-based doctor named Orlem Brandon Serrao ordered an ice cream online from Yummo Ice Creams and he was shocked to find the topping of a human finger, which left him traumatized. He issued a video statement and said he luckily did not swallow it. Explaining the experience he said, "I am a doctor so I know what body parts look like. When I carefully examined it, I noticed the nails and fingerprint impressions under it. It resembled a thumb. I am traumatized."

And before that, a woman found eight cockroaches inside the plain dosa that she ordered at Madras Coffee House in Delhi. As soon as she found cockroaches and she started recording a video, the hotel staff didn't let her fully record the video of the meal as they entered in the middle and took away the plate. Later the woman called the police to file a complaint.
